Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with significant neurological complications that can influence perioperative outcomes and anesthetic management. Uremia, electrolyte disturbances, inflammation, and vascular dysfunction contribute to cognitive impairment, peripheral neuropathy, and altered neurophysiological responses. Neurophysiological monitoring techniques, including electroencephalography, evoked potentials, and neuromuscular monitoring, offer valuable insights into neural function before, during, and after surgery. Simultaneously, laboratory biomarkers of renal dysfunction, inflammation, oxidative stress, and neuronal injury provide objective measures for risk stratification and outcome prediction. This interdisciplinary review examines the integration of neurophysiological monitoring and biomarker assessment in CKD patients undergoing anesthesia. Combining these approaches may facilitate individualized perioperative care, enhance patient safety, improve neurological outcomes, and support the development of precision-based anesthetic strategies and innovations
