This study analyzes Union Bank of India's profitability and returns performance through growth-oriented strategies. This study analyzes Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), net interest margin, and overall profitability to determine how strategic initiatives like digital transformation, loan portfolio expansion, revenue stream diversification, and asset quality management affect financial performance. Secondary data from financial statements and yearly reports reveals growth trends and their direct impact on returns. Effective expansion plans have improved operational efficiency, profitability, and sustainable returns despite banking sector headwinds. The study emphasizes balanced risk management and growth for long-term financial stability and shareholder return. The findings indicate that ROA increased from 0.20% to 1.26%, ROE improved from 4.8% to 15%, and Net NPA declined from 3.68% to 0.45% during the study period.
