Platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Telegram, and X (formerly Twitter) are widely used for communication, entertainment, and educational purposes. The increasing use of social media has transformed the learning environment by providing students with opportunities to access educational resources, participate in online discussions, and collaborate with peers. However, excessive use of social media may negatively affect academic performance by reducing study time, causing distractions, and affecting concentration.
