In the present era, Quantum computing is rapidly getting advanced. In this quantum computing era, its biggest application is modern cryptography. In this paper we will explore the impact of quantum computing in 2 major domains: password encryption and face recognition. Now we will discuss about the classic password systems and the methods it relies on. Then we will discuss how these are vulnerable to some of the quantum algorithms, which reduce brute-force complexity.
Similarly in face recognition also suffer with some vulnerabilities like spoofing, data breaches and adversarial manipulation. To address these challenges, the study explains how Quantum Key Distribution and Quantum Random Numbers Generators provide security to password exchanges and random authentication keys.
This paper also highlights the role of Quantum Machine Learning and Quantum Neural Networks in enhancing face recognition systems. This paper not only mentioning about the advantages, but also explains about the limitations like hardware scalability, cost and ethical concerns. Later in this paper we will discuss about the future scope of this concept in all possible ways and concludes with the combinations of classic and quantum methods.
