A study was conducted among 150 female college students, including both localites and hostelites. The research focused on assessing dietary patterns, including whether students followed a vegetarian or non-vegetarian diet and their daily water intake. In addition, lifestyle habits among young female students were examined. The study also considered the total number of meals consumed per day and the level of daily physical activity. These factors were analysed to understand the overall health and lifestyle patterns of female college students. It was observed around 66% students are non-vegetarian while 34% are vegetarian. Only 12% of girls consumed a proper 4 meals a day with 48% of them consuming 3 meals per day while 40% of them consuming only 2 meals per day. Water consumption varied with 3-litre accounting for the highest proportion 34.66%, followed by 2-litre 29.33%. Lower levels of water consumption were observed for 4-litre 15.33%, 2.5-litre 10.66%, 1.5-litre 7.33%, and 1-litre 2.66%. The physical activity patterns of participants were analysed. The findings revealed that 32% of the respondents reported walking daily, while 18% practiced yoga on a daily basis. Additionally, 15.33% of the participants engaged in daily exercise, whereas a significant proportion, 34.66% reported not performing any form of physical activity.
