E- cart as one of the most significant applications of e-commerce technology in modern society. The increasing demand for digital services and smart shopping solutions has encouraged businesses to adopt online platforms for providing efficient customer services. The E-Cart is a web-based e-commerce application developed to simplify grocery purchasing activities through automation and digital management.
The proposed system provides an interactive platform where customers can register, login, browse grocery products, search for items, add products to a shopping cart, and place orders online. The system also includes an administrative module that allows efficient management of products, inventory, categories, customer orders, and transaction records. The webapplication is designed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL technologies to ensure reliability, scalability, and user-friendly interaction.
The major objective of the proposed system is to reduce manual effort involved in traditional shopping methods while improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The implementation of the E-Cart system minimizes paperwork, reduces billing errors, provides secure data handling, and improves accessibility for customers.
Experimental analysis and testing demonstrate that the proposed system performs effectively in managing online grocery shopping operations. The project highlights the importance of digital commerce systems in modern business environments and demonstrates how online platforms can enhance shopping experiences through automation.
