Abstract

SmartLineSeeker is an intelligent robotic car designed to autonomously follow a predefined path using line detection technology. The system utilizes infrared (IR) sensors to detect contrast between the path (typically a black line) and the surrounding surface, enabling precise navigation without human intervention. Controlled by a microcontroller, the robot processes real-time sensor data and adjusts motor movements accordingly to maintain alignment with the path. The primary objective of this project is to demonstrate the application of embedded systems, automation, and robotics in solving real-world navigation problems. SmartLineSeeker is energy-efficient, cost-effective, and adaptable for various applications such as warehouse automation, industrial material handling, and smart transportation systems. This project highlights the integration of hardware components like sensors, motors, and controllers with software logic to create a reliable autonomous system. Future enhancements may include obstacle detection, wireless control, and machine learning capabilities to improve decision-making and efficiency.
