Education System in Medieval India
Madrasas, Tuzuki-i-Baburi, Fakirs, Maqulat, Manqulat
This research article aims to inform readers on schooling in the Middle Ages. Muslims dominated the educational system during the Middle Ages. During this time, changes were made to the educational system. People started to realize the importance of education at this time, and some even started enrolling in schools. Madrasas provided higher education, whereas maktabs provided elementary instruction.The teaching and learning processes included cutting-edge techniques and approaches. Maktabs were the organizations that taught in schools. Madrasas, on the other hand, were establishments that offered higher education. While the monarchs and aristocracy supported the madrasas, the maktabs were typically funded by donations from the general population.
