Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the recruitment methods used in the food manufacturing sector and how companies find and hire the right employees for various job roles. Recruitment is a very important function in any organization because it helps in bringing in capable and skilled individuals who can contribute to the overall growth and success of the company. In the food manufacturing industry, the need for efficient employees is even more critical, as the quality of products, safety standards, and production efficiency depend largely on the workforce. Food manufacturing companies require employees for different levels, including production workers, machine operators, quality control staff, supervisors, and administrative roles. To fill these positions, companies use a variety of recruitment methods. Traditional methods such as newspaper advertisements and employee referrals are still widely used, especially for hiring shop-floor workers. At the same time, modern methods like online job portals, company websites, and campus recruitment have become increasingly popular for hiring skilled and professional employees. This study focuses on understanding these recruitment methods and analyzing how effective they are in selecting the right candidates. It also explores the advantages and limitations of each method.
