Online Examination System With Secure Authentication
The need for trustworthy and secure online assessment platforms has grown due to the quick expansion of digital education. The design and implementation of an online examination system with secure authentication, which guarantees the integrity, confidentiality, and authenticity of the examination process, is the main focus of this study. The suggested system reduces the administrative burden and human error associated with conventional examination methods while allowing educational institutions to administer exams electronically. Verifying examinees' identities and preventing malpractice or unauthorised access are two of the biggest challenges in online assessments. The system incorporates secure authentication methods like user credential validation, one-time password (OTP), and two-factor authentication to solve this problem. To ensure fairness and transparency, additional security measures are used, such as encrypted data transmission, time-bound exams, randomised question sets, and activity monitoring. Effective exam administration, automated evaluation, and immediate result generation are made possible by the system's role-based access for administrators, teachers, and students. The study's findings show that while preserving academic integrity, the suggested online exam system increases security, scalability, and efficiency. This solution offers a dependable framework for administering tests remotely and can be modified for use in a variety of professional and educational assessment settings.
