Urban flooding has become a significant challenge in rapidly developing cities like Solapur due to increasing population, unplanned urbanization, and inadequate drainage systems. The Smart Flood Management System integrates modern technologies such as IoT, real-time monitoring, and data analytics to improve stormwater management. The system continuously monitors rainfall, water levels, and drainage conditions using sensors and automated systems, enabling early warnings and better emergency response. It reduces flood risks, minimizes economic losses, and promotes sustainable practices such as rainwater harvesting and groundwater recharge.
