This review focuses on the influence of turning parameters on the machining performance of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a widely used polymer in engineering applications. The study highlights how key parameters such as spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut affect important output responses like surface roughness, dimensional accuracy, and material removal rate. Due to the low melting point and high ductility of HDPE, selecting appropriate cutting conditions is essential to avoid defects such as poor surface finish and tool wear. Various research works are examined to understand the optimal parameter combinations and the role of different tool geometries in improving machining quality. Overall, this review provides a clear understanding of how turning parameters can be effectively controlled to achieve better performance and productivity in HDPE machining.
