Abstract

This study evaluated the carcass characteristics and primal cuts of weaner rabbits fed diets containing graded levels of toasted Bambara nut offal (BNO) as a replacement for wheat offal. Twenty-four crossbred weaner rabbits were allotted to four dietary treatments in a completely randomized design, with BNO replacing wheat offal at 0% (control), 25%, 50%, and 75% levels. At the end of the ten-week feeding trial, three rabbits per treatment were slaughtered for carcass evaluation.
