In today’s digital world, secure communication is essential due to increasing cyber threats and data breaches. This paper presents CipherChat, a secure communication Android application that uses the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm for encrypting and decrypting messages, images, and documents. The system ensures data confidentiality by allowing only authorized users to access encrypted data using a password-based mechanism.
Firebase Realtime Database is used for real-time data synchronization, enabling smooth communication between users. The application also includes features such as message status indicators, search functionality, notification settings, and user-friendly interface design. The proposed system provides a reliable, efficient, and secure platform for modern communication needs.
